Don’t meet your heroes, unless they are the Pack Ad? Few bands have influenced me more personally to think “I can do it” whatever that is more than the Pack Ad. I saw them for the first time in Indianapolis via referral from a friend Cody Burkhart. They played at The White Rabbit and to say it was a life changing experience would be a understatement. Their brand of psychpop/garage rock was exactly what I needed at the time. I followed their growth and success and as time passed the label was born. I approached them at a return show in Indianapolis years after my first encounter and asked them if they had anything they would allow me to press basically. They kindly said yes, we swapped emails, and it grew from there. I was fortunate enough to play a few days on the road with them after that first 7 inch release with my own band Brother O Brother throughout parts of the Midwest. We then did a split 7 inch together complete with our own DND figs to celebrate the release. Meet your heroes . Stream below
